The Great Blogbina in "The Case of the Rabid Rain," by Mia Katz

Inspired by IllustrationFriday.com's "Rain" theme (and with the fleeting thought of Peter Gabriel's "Red Rain" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnwG2Pg0X1o) ... Here is another potential movie starring The Great Blogbina. And so the clichéd, very low-budget story begins …

FADE IN: EXT. of a forest-surrounded, antiquated-looking castle; within the heart of a winter’s night

A trace of pale moon casts an eerie glow onto the structure's dusky, cold-cobwebbed surface

INT. the castle – Just a little before midnight

A torrential downpour of rain has disturbed The Great Blogbina’s sleep; in her restlessness, she has decided to investigate her new surroundings -- a basement laboratory in the seemingly abandoned castle that she had thankfully chanced upon earlier that night when her pet Blogosaurus (not pictured) was unable to walk a step further in their day's long journey.

What was truly bothering The Great Blogbina was the unusual sound for rain … the incessant buzz-hum, click-gurgle, then sudden, shrill shriek, snort, honk and a drumroll.

It was just the sort of sound that might come from rain that had been transformed into expanding, humanized, fanged Droplets of Terror.
