The inspiration for this toon is such a long tale, I don't think it is worth mentioning here. However, to thwart any rumors, I will mention now that No- this was not based on a true story.

I love that I recognized the fact that it was an ice cream sandwich because the first thing I thought of was ..."Ooh, that would taste great right about now!"

Mike- yes- you recognized him correctly. This is the guy. In fact, forget calling the exterminator. Just toss a few ice cream sandwiches around - if you see one (sandwich) creeping across your kitchen floor - you'll know just where to find him.
ES - you are too funny! I agree- there is a hint of a resemblance in our illustration submissions this week for IF! Do you think it has to do with something we ate?
